Retreat - Heart of Bali

Exploring the island: 10 days – 9 nights

Program

The “Heart of Bali” tour is about depth, inspiration, and a true reset. You will touch the island’s sacred places, visit powerful energy spots, try meditation, and go through cleansing ceremonies. And you will also welcome the sunrise on a volcano — a moment you will remember for a long time

The program includes what creates the right rhythm: morning yoga, calm tea ceremonies, and heartfelt conversations in a circle of like-minded people. This is a journey where Bali invites you into a world of magic

Day 1

We will meet you at the airport and take you to a hotel in Ubud — the very heart of Bali

Ubud is a special place with a unique atmosphere and culture. It is often called the true “heart” of the island: alive, authentic, filled with traditions and quiet power. Everyone finds something of their own here. Some come for inspiration, others for inner support and renewal, as if drawn to the fire of creativity and spiritual growth. And it’s true: in Ubud it’s easiest to see Bali as it really is — in its everyday life, rituals, and traditions

The drive from the airport will take about 1.5 hours

Upon arrival, you will have time to rest and gently recover after the flight

In the evening

On the evening of the first day, we will gather in a warm circle for a tea ceremony

A tea ceremony is like a soft meditation: it helps you slow down, listen to yourself, feel your emotions and state, and become more attentive to taste and the moment. For everyone this process opens in its own way — inspiration may come, new thoughts, dreams, or important memories. The ceremony tunes you into calm and a positive state, and from this state it will be easier for us to formulate our intention — what we came here for

Day 2

On this day, after we sleep well and recover from the road, we will go to a wellness SPA salon — to deeply relax and tune in to our journey through the world of Balinese magic

In the program (3 hours):

  • Head spa treatment
  • Hammam
  • Scrub
  • Balinese massage
  • Relaxing in the garden with tea and fruit

After this rest for body and soul, it’s the perfect time to continue the day in a light and delicious way — we will have lunch at a vegan restaurant

They cook with natural, organic products. Caring for your health is the first and most important step toward transformation. We truly become what we eat and what we think: from food and thoughts — to our state, our form, and our quality of life

After lunch we will return to the hotel: there will be time to relax, swim in the pool, and calmly prepare for the next part of the journey

Day 3

Our morning will begin with yoga or meditation, and then a delicious breakfast

Today we will go to sacred springs — a place of power where we will take part in a purification ceremony. You will experience traditional rituals with prayers and offerings, as well as symbolic cleansing under cascading water — a deep and beautiful experience that helps you let go of what no longer serves you and feel renewed

After the ceremony, we will go to the famous Taman Dedari restaurant. Here you can not only enjoy a delicious lunch, but also walk along scenic paths, admire panoramic views, visit a small art gallery, and see impressive carved wooden statues

Then we will walk through a picturesque tropical forest that is home to around 700 macaques. If you wish, you can feed them nuts sold at the entrance. And you will also see true giants here — nutmeg trees that are over 300 years old

Day 4

After our now-traditional morning practice and breakfast, we will go to a secret beach — to swim and sunbathe. We leave early to enjoy the ocean in the gentle morning sun and to be kind to the skin under Bali’s rays

Closer to lunchtime, when the sun becomes more intense, we will visit the bat cave temple Goa Lawah Temple. This is one of the island’s most mysterious places: the temple is built at the entrance to a cave labyrinth where thousands of bats live. In Bali they are considered sacred beings, and sometimes you can see locals bringing them offerings — most often sweet fruit

For lunch we will stop at one of the most beautiful restaurants along the route, and then we will head to two impressive waterfalls, each with its own atmosphere and beauty:

  • Temesi Waterfall
  • Tegenungan Waterfall
Day 5

Today will be calm and gentle, in a restful rhythm. In the morning — as usual — yoga or meditation, followed by a delicious breakfast

After that, we will go to a gong meditation at Pyramids of Chi. This is a special space where the power of pyramids, sacred geometry, ancient sounds, and that very Balinese energy come together — something that is hard to explain in words, but easy to feel

Gong meditation helps you find balance between yourself and the world around you. Sound vibrations gently relax the body, release energy and let it flow freely, easing both physical and emotional tension

We will have lunch at a cozy vegan café in the outskirts of Ubud. It has a very warm, home-like atmosphere — a place where it’s nice to slow down and simply enjoy the moment

And an important note: today it’s better to go to bed early, to sleep well and gather strength before the night adventure

Day 6

At 03:30 we have a very early wake-up

But it is worth it: we are heading to the real Mount Batur volcano to welcome the sunrise — one of the most beautiful moments in Bali

In a 4WD jeep we will reach places that regular transport cannot access: we will drive across black sands and lava hills and see the volcanic landscapes of Kintamani in all their power

Next comes a hike to the summit. At the top we will set up a small camp to calmly wait for sunrise: warm tea, a light hiking breakfast, and, if the weather is favorable, a breathtaking panorama. After sunrise we hike back down

After this adventure, we will go to hot springs. Warm water, fresh mountain air, and majestic views will help you relax and restore your strength

After a short rest, we will continue our expedition: through the jungle on Mount Abang we will reach the hidden Bubung Renteng temple and see its mystical statues

Day 7

On this early beautiful morning we will start the day with yoga or meditation. Yoga brings real benefits to both the body and your inner state — it helps you gently gather yourself, balance your mood, and feel more energy

After breakfast, the day will be completely free — with no trips and no mandatory program. You can stay in our space, relax, swim in the pool, and simply enjoy a calm rhythm

If you feel like walking, you can explore fairytale Ubud on your own — we will definitely provide a detailed route description. You can also book an additional excursion in advance (options are available upon request)

We recommend visiting:

  • Monkey Forest in central Ubud
  • Campuhan Ridge Walk
  • Antonio Blanco Museum
  • Puri Lukisan Museum
  • Ubud Market (street market)
Day 8

Today is a special day: we are heading to Bali’s main shrine — Pura Besakih temple, where a local monk will perform a ceremony for us

This complex is often called the “mother of all temples.” It is located at the foot of the majestic Mount Agung — the largest and active volcano in the region. Here you can especially feel the scale of the island and its spiritual depth

Next, we will visit the royal water palace Taman Ujung — a beautiful historical site with water gardens and the atmosphere of old Bali

There is a legend connected to this palace: once the king of Karangasem heard rumors that people in the area were using black magic to weaken his power. The ruler ordered his soldiers to arrest and execute everyone on the field where the palace now stands. That is why Balinese people do not recommend coming here at night — it is believed that in the darkness you may encounter ghosts

And the real cherry on top of today will be the unusual and very colorful Tenganan Pegringsingan Village

It is one of the oldest settlements on the island. Here the traditions of Bali’s indigenous people are still carefully preserved: the local way of life follows its own rules, with a distinct hierarchy, rituals, and overall atmosphere. The community remains quite closed and only relatively recently opened to guests

Traditional crafts hold a special place here — they help preserve the village’s unique culture and pass it on from generation to generation

Day 9

This is the day when we will sum up our journey and gently bring it to completion

After morning yoga or meditation and a delicious breakfast, we will gather in a warm circle in the yoga hall for a heart meditation and reflect on what has changed inside during this magical journey

Then you will have free time: you can buy souvenirs for your loved ones or simply walk around Ubud — already in a new inner state and with warm memories of this adventure

But is it really the end? Of course not. In the evening, a special ceremony awaits us — Agnihotra, an ancient Vedic fire purification ritual. During the ceremony, the space, atmosphere, and people’s energy are cleansed

And during the fire ritual and shortly after it, many people find it easier to hear themselves: to understand what you truly want, and which direction your inner path is calling you toward

Day 10

On this day, we return home

Full, renewed, and with a gentle sadness that the journey is coming to an end, we will head to the airport

Max Frei once said: “I am leaving forever… and in general everyone always leaves forever… It is impossible to return — someone else always returns instead of us”

As you board the plane, try asking yourself a simple but very important question: “Who is this person who is returning home?”
